✅ Lighter Internal Materials:
The 2.5 model utilises lighter materials, reducing its weight for easier handling and manoeuvrability.
✅ Replaceable Torque Pins and Improved Top Handle Pin:
Features replaceable torque pins and a new detent ball system on the top handle pin, enhancing reliability and maintenance ease.
✅ New Rubber Grips Material and Process:
The model introduces a different material and process for its rubber grips, further improving ergonomics and comfort for the user.
✅ Enhanced Manufacturing Process:
All components of the iPro Golf Holecutter 2.5 are now manufactured fully in-house using state-of-the-art CNC machinery. This change results in finer finishes, better tolerances, and greater production control over quality.
To use the iPro, first release the top pin while monitoring the built-in bubble spirit level. Lift the tool and use its bodyweight as a slide hammer, releasing it downwards in a controlled motion to force the sharp blade into the ground. Repeat this process smoothly until you reach the desired depth. Once the required depth is achieved, re-engage the top pin, give the iPro a slight side-to-side rotation, and lift it gently and vertically out of the ground. This method will leave you with a clean, perfect 4.25-inch hole ready for the golf hole cup or sleeve.
Use the side handle to carry the tool to the old hole, after removing the cup and flagstick. Place the iPro into the old hole without compacting the soil. For optimal results, keep the depth stop ring about half an inch above the surface, as it’s easier to repair a slightly high plug than a low one. This process becomes more intuitive after a few uses, reducing the need for soil repairs.
To extract the plug soil core, hold the side handle and release the side spring-loaded pin. Using the full length of the handle, lift and ratchet the tool. The tool will lift out of the ground, leaving the plug of soil behind. Allow the side handle to lock back into place automatically. Then, place the tool into the docking station to prevent it from falling over on your green. Carry the iPro back to your utility vehicle using the side handle for easy balance, ready for the next green.
The blade of the iPro Golf Holecutter 2.5 features a measuring sticker with both metric and imperial units. To set the depth, use the dedicated BMS depth stop ring. This ring can be easily attached to three of the six mounting screws that hold the blade in place. It’s adjustable in quarter-inch or 6mm increments. Once locked, it remains securely in position, ensuring it won’t slip or slide, and providing consistently perfect depths of cuts every time. Additionally, the ring can be adjusted to work with the BMS hole cutting board if needed.
The iPro Golf Holecutter 2.5 features lighter internal alloy materials, replaceable torque pins, and a new detent ball system for the top handle pin, making it more reliable and easier to maintain than earlier versions.
The Easy Ratchet is an included feature that uses improved physics to smoothly extract even the most stubborn plugs from clay or sandy soil, ensuring a smooth and simple operation.
Yes, we offer custom blade types depending on your green’s construction. The inner sharpened blade is most common, providing a perfect cut without the need for finishing. For tougher soils, the outer sharp blade can penetrate any ground.

The iPro Golf Holecutter 2.5 accommodates various soil types with specialised blades. For modern greens typically composed of sand-based soils, we offer the ‘Inner Sharp’ blade, previously known as the ‘SAND Blade.’ For tougher, clay-based soils, the ‘Outer Sharp’ blade, formerly called the ‘CLAY Blade,’ is designed to effectively penetrate and create clean holes.
